Thank a teacher who taught you before with a letter or a gift

Today I sent to my principal in the elementary section. I didn't talk to her since she went from the school. I sent her a message telling her how grateful and thankful I'm for her and for all what she've done to me when I was a child. she replied saying that she was very happy to see my message and she want to be always proud of me. I felt so happy and comfortable.

October 14 11:00 AM Saturday today I made a dinner for my family. Now sometimes I help my mother in the kitchen and the house, but however they weren't expecting from me to do them a dinner because usually I don't do things for my family. It was a shock for them, but they were proud of me because finally they saw their daughter cooking and making dinner alone. I felt proud of myself too because I made my family enjoy their dinner and have fun.
